“Angel Tidbits”

  Welcome Back!  We hope you all had a terrific summer!  Here is our first “Angel Tidbits” for the 2006-2007 school year from the Home and School Association.  We meet every other month during the school year and babysitting is provided.  The Home and School Association is a connection between the parents and the school.  We host various school fundraisers to help with the school funding.   Every parent is welcome, so please join us at our meetings and bring along your ideas to share. Together we can make Our Lady of the Angels the best school that it can be!

 

Your Home and School Officers for the 2006-2007 School Year:

 

BETH BOSSERT—President:  Beth begins her second year as President.  She attended Holy Trinity School and is a 1987 graduate of Columbia High School.  She graduated in 1991 with a BA in Psychology from Millersville University.  Beth has been a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.  She resides in Columbia with her husband Bill and their two children.  Nathan is entering into 3rd grade and Lauren is entering 1st grade.  Beth is the Senior Vice President for American Home Bank.

 

KERRIE KRAFT—Vice President: Kerrie begins her first year as Vice President.    She attended Holy Trinity School and is a 1993 graduate of Columbia High School.   She is a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.  Kerrie and her husband, Dane, reside in Columbia with their two daughters.  Victoria who will be heading into 3rd grade this year while Gabriella begins her first year in Kindergarten.  Kerrie is a manager for Payless Shoes.

 

KELLEY ANDREWS—Treasurer:  Kelley begins her second year as Treasurer.  She attended Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary grade school and graduated from Middletown High School in 1986.  She then attended Millersville University, from which she received a B.S. in Business Administration in 1990.  Kelley and her husband, Ron, reside in Columbia and are members of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.  Their son Jason is getting ready for 4th grade this year. In June the family welcomed their new addition- Tessa Rose!   Kelley has been an employee of RR Donnelley for 10 years and works in the accounting department. 

 

KELLY BROMMER—Secretary:  Kelly begins her first year as Secretary.  She graduated from in 1993 from Columbia High School and continued her education at Albright College in Reading, PA where she graduated in 1997 with a B.S. in Business Administration focusing on Management and Marketing.  Kelly completed RCIA classes this past spring and joined Holy Trinity Catholic Church as a member on April 15, 2006.  She resides in Columbia with her husband Brian and their two daughters.  Emmie, who will be entering 1st grade this year and Camryn who is 1 year old!  Kelly has been the Office Manager for John Hancock Life Insurance Company in Lancaster, PA for the past nine years!

 

Meetings:  Our first Home and School Association meeting will be held on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th at the Elementary Building in the Cafeteria, 7:00 p.m.  The topic is the new GRADE REPORT, formally known as Report Card, to be covered by Mrs. Burg.  Babysitting will be provided & refreshments will be served.  Please mark your calendars!

 

 

New Parents:  WELCOME, NEW PARENTS to Our Lady of the Angels School!   New Parent Night is on Thursday, August 24th at 7:00 pm in the Primary building Cafeteria.  More information will follow.

 

 Redner’s Receipts, Turkey Hill Moo Money Lids, Campbell’s Labels, Box Tops: Please be sure to continue to collect and turn in these items to the school offices as an ongoing fund raiser for the school!  More information will follow on each fundraiser.
