EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS
Our Lady of the Angels
received a check from Upromises Inc for $60.13. We also received a check from Target
for $99.71. We appreciate friends and family who participate in these programs.
BASKETBALL
Congratulations to the 5th
and 6th grade girls for taking third place at the St. Joseph
Tournament. Our Varsity boys did an excellent job at Round Robin and also
brought home the Sportsmanship Award from the Deanery.
NUTRITION
AND WELLNESS
When packing lunches I
encourage parents to make healthy choices for their children. It is important
that children learn early to make healthy choices whenever possible. Students
are not to share food and we do this for a variety of reasons.
MUSIC FEST
Our Music Fest is
scheduled for May 15th. There will be two performances 1:30 and
7:00. The instrumental students will perform as well as students in grades 4
through 8.

SHOES
The safety of the students
comes first so it is important that the shoes they wear to school provide that
safety. Students are not to wear open toe shoes, shoes without a back or any
other style that may cause them to fall or slip.

THANK YOU
I want to thank Gayle
Rowett for getting us started with the Moo Money. It has been a great
fundraiser and recently Gayle received a note from Turkey Hill congratulating
OLA for being the top collectors so
far. Your help is greatly appreciated.
We have reached our goal
and the donations continue. Donations are accepted at any time. We appreciate
all the financial support we have received from the Annual Appeal. May God
bless you for your generosity and support.
OUR LAST DAY OF SCHOOL
As of this date our last
day of school is June 8th. We will dismiss at 10:30.
School districts will NOT
provide transportation at dismissal. The
location for Mass will be announced in the next newsletter.
SHORTS
The shorts that the boys
and girls are wearing are to be uniform shorts purchased from the uniform
company. I am seeing numerous styles and lengths. Please abide by the uniform
code.

us by May 18th. We look forward to seeing you.
HISTORY EXHIBIT
I want to thank Mrs.
Collins and Mrs. Benko for coordinating this event. The turnout this year was
terrific. This was a nice opportunity for the students to let their light shine
through their academic accomplishments.
ALL ARE WELCOME
There are always many
exciting things happening here at Our Lady of the Angels. We do not always make
formal invitations to parents and friends because some events may be short or
geared toward the children however you are always welcome to attend.

HALF WAY
Tomorrow is the half way
point in the third trimester. You will be receiving Progress Notices. We ask
that you sign and return them because that is the only way that we know they
have reached you. You will find them in the Friday Folder on April 27.
FINAL GRADE REPORT
Your child will not
receive their final Grade Report on the last day of school. It will be mail to
you later in the month of June. This way there will be instruction until the
children are dismissed on
June 8th.

Accreditation.
