Ben Snyder and Megan Seibert won at the District level and will go on to regionals.

NEUMANN SCHOLARSHIP

The deadline for applications is April 1st. Please if you need tuition assistance, complete the application.

2008-2009 REGISTRATION

I would like to encourage you to send in your registration as soon as possible. If you are having concerns about registering for next year and would like to talk with me, please feel free to call and schedule an appointment. Decisions need to be made and having an accurate enrollment figure is crucial in making those decisions.

 

 

ELECTRONIC DEVICES

Students are not permitted to bring electronic devices to school. This includes cell phones and CD players.

 

 

MIDDLE STATES TEAM

The Middle States Team will arrive on April 20th and will be visiting classrooms on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We will dismiss at 12:30 on Wednesday April 23rd so that the team can present their oral report to the faculty. There will be NO bus transportation at the 12:30 dismissal.

                   GRADE REPORTS

        Your child’s grade report will be     in their Friday folder tomorrow.     You are asked to sign and         return the report to your child’s     teacher.

 

 

SNOW MAKE UP DAY

School will be in session on Monday, March 24 as a snow make up day.  Lunch will be the same as planned for Feb. 22nd, toasted cheese and tomato soup.  If your child was to pack on Feb 22nd they are to pack on March 24th.  Penn Manor and Hempfield School Districts will not provide transportation that day.

 

 

 

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

This past month the Knights of Columbus presented us with a $2000 check. We are very grateful for their continued commitment to Our Lady of the Angels School.

 

 

 

THANK YOU

We are grateful to the family of Catherine (Kay) Romaine for naming Our Lady of the Angels as her memorial. She and her family will remain in our prayers.

 

 

 

PENNIES FROM HEAVEN

The class collecting the most money for "Pennies from Heaven" project will be awarded a dress down day. Please continue to support this project in memory of Emily Rose Geyer. 

A NEAR COLLISION

Earlier this month there was a near collision in the parking lot at the Primary Building. Please be sure to look all ways and drive slowly in the parking lots. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

 

 

TITLE V

Title V, a federal grant we received automatically, has been excluded from the President’s budget. We will no longer receive Title V monies.

 

 

PHILADELPHIA TRIP 

On April 2nd in celebration of our 10th birthday we will be traveling to Philadelphia. There has been a lot of planning and preparation that has gone into this adventure. Children and chaperones are to bring their own packed lunch.

K4 will be in session on April 2nd.

 

 

 

PARENT CONFERENCES

We will be dismissing early on April 9th for parent conferences. Look for information in your Friday folders. These conferences are optional but give you an opportunity to speak with your child’s teacher.

 

 

 

UNIFORM FITTING

Representatives from the uniform company will be here on April 17th to assist you. They will be at the Primary Building from 2:30 until 4:00.
